Mother of Invention's song

So, I've been up all night, and finally finished putting Mother of Invention's gorgeous song onto video and getting it loaded onto YouTube - go along and leave MOI your opinion... she's dying to know what you think!!! :-D

So, finally, here it is... the one... the only....

No wonder the video clippings were familiar, it was by you! =D Great job and I love the song! I was nodding my head to the beat of the song, LOL!

Really like it! You were great, MOI! =) And great tune too! =)

Wasn't she just!! I've been listening to her voice all night, and I just think MOI has such a beautiful and clear voice, and this song should be recorded properly, and a proper vid put to it!!! That's what I think... having played the song over and over while editing... didn't get tired of it at all... in fact, it's humming round my head just now...

Before my daughter went off to her dad's, she'd been humming the tune too :-)

(yes, I really did stay up all night doing this... I have other things to do this weekend, and so wanted to make it work so everyone else could hear it... but I had to learn the whole of the movie-maker program from scratch!!!

Still, I know how to do it now! :-D)

Sorry to all the folks I haven't managed to get round to visiting lately...(which is virtually everyone! :-( ) - I'm hoping to some time later this weekend!

OMG! It's so beautiful Annelisa! I love all the images, especially how the bird flies out of the oicture at the very end! What a great teameffort...I've been told it is catchy and even I think it is!!! HA!

I feel so bad that you've spent all this time for my song! So I owe you a dinner and night out when you come across the ocean to Ontario, Canada! HA! HA!

Please get some sleep!

Giving you hugs and a huge thanks across the miles!

Cool, I'll hold you to that MOI, my new video partner! :-D

No sleep yet... was going to get off computer just now, but saw you'd left a message... going now... really! :-)

By the way, MOI - it was a pleasure... great fun to do... so much that I lost track of time completely... and must've eaten any number of 'midnight snacks'! So, maybe I'll just roll up to bed now...

Lol! Hey MOI, guess what? As your song was playing and I about to move to my other blog, my mom overheard a bit of your song. Guess what?

SHE LIKES IT! She told me who sang it! :P Coolness!

:-D I've given up trying to get any sleep today (probably fall asleep on the keyboard in a minute, having said that!)... I think Steve's right, FK, she's almost definately thinking, "Hey, this makes a change from your usual noise... why not buy the album!" (ha, MOI...you'll have to make one yet!)

Steve - I put a box of tissues in the sidebar for RDG... You're welcome to use a couple :-D
You think you're all going to hum it all day! How do you think I'm doing, having spent the night listening to it! :-D

Hope I'm not disturbing your sleep and/or that you're already in bed so won't be held up by this!! I also love the bubbles blubbing (kerflubbling like my heart!??) under the iced over puddle and the white birds fluttering (also my heart!) across the green grass. It is so perfect! We should get an Oscar for the Best Blog Blend of video/writing set to music! Uh...they might call it a "BLOSCAR"!! LOL!

Got groceries done so I'm writing the blurb now in Edit...

FK: Hey, that's neat! Thanks to her! I have a mini-fan club! LOL!
(I used to belong to The Monkees fan club way back in '66!

Nah, I won't be held up, MOI... sleep's still on the horizon.

Actually, the bubbles were my favourite bit - it was my son who spotted them first... then I found them quite addictive to watch! The geese were brilliant - just all moved together to the mud-hole on the other side of the field! I got quite a bit of footage of those geese... you don't want to know where they are now :-(

Tell you what, though.. the first thing I'm going to buy if I win the lottery is a decent camera and videocamera! You can really tell how it loses quality being transferred to Youtube (by the way, if you click on the screen and go to YouTube, at the bottom right corner of the screen there there's two buttons - the one on the right allows you to see it full-screen!

Have to say a 'Bloscar' award just has to be better than a 'Oscog' award, doesn't it? :-)

I used to be in the Tufty Club... this was a squirrel that crossed the road - "Look left, look right, look left again... is it safe to cross? All clear. You can cross the road safely now, children! !! does this count?

I think that makes a mini-fan club of, what, 5 now? :-D Soon be famous ...

Hahaha! No Steve and annelisa, I do not listen to many of those modern "trashy" music and no I don't buy their albums. Sorry, but I think it's a waste of money anyway. (But over here, you can buy a pirated album for as low as £1!) Most music I listen to are via the radio, and I don't tune into the radio that often anyway.

So unlike most teens, I don't really listen to music all the time. And I especially hate the rap genre, hahaha!

Actually, FK, I think there's a lot of pretty good music around at the mo...(though, if you were to ask me to name some, I'd have problems- I never remember who they are). I listen to the radio a lot in the car, and some stuff is great, then again, some is pap!

Ha! I could imagine you, in your weirdness, not listening to 'trashy' music (what do you consider trashy, by the way?) - my oldest son listens to a lot of real good music (again, couldn't name it), but he also loves metal... drives me nuts if he puts the heavy stuff on in the morning, before work!!

Totally agree with what you said about MOI's voice, Mystic, and lyrics at Spilling Out - doesn't she just rock!

And thanks for your nice comments about the video... that was just a means to an end, to get MOI's song on her blog! :-D

I'm impressed - brainiac! How clever to work all that out. I watched the video without the music and with it and it makes a difference in parts. There's a bit with a misty street lamp - when you watch without music it looks sort of creepy. When you put the happy music in it becomes vaguely romantic. Always fascinates me the way music is so effective in film.

Have you ever tried when you're feeling wimpy in a horror film just turning the sound off? It stops me being scared.

I also love the bubble bit especially - it's very cool.

I just checked when you mentioned the lottery... Unfortunately I have not won the big prize so can't shout you a sneaky vid camera, but I have won a tenner!

Anyway - still putting off tax (have lost my logon details again) so must go. Nice one x

Aha, Gotcha Topchamp!

You weren't supposed to be commenting, just taking a quick peek! :-D (I know, 'cos I just visited your site, and that's what you said you were going to do!)

Funny, all that time of looking at it, and I hadn't tried turning off the sound once! I shall try it later...

I love the way the bubbles seem to go into arms, which then fold round them...enclosing them safely... ahhh...

A tenner - you lucky so-and-so! I never win on the lottery :-(

Top Champ! Thanks so much for having a listen and look! It is kinda neat how this video goes so perfectly with the music! AL has captured the exact mood and feeling, even with the foggy misty part...sometimes this whole idea of finding happiness and the notion of having to go out and look for it does, in fact, seem a bit unclear and fogged over! I never though of that until now! Thanks for your perspective.

TC - I tried with the sound off... I see what you mean. It feels very different!

Not quite, MOI - I've been thinking about tightening up, so a couple of places that 'slipped' when I changed it elsewhere lost their timing (near the end)... but otherwise... not bad for a first effort, eh? :-D

Hiya RDKitty - my daughter picked the tissue box out of half a dozen I had selected - I think she chose well :-) Nice and cheery!

Ever since I heard MOI's song, I just thought it was too good not to share! I'm glad I found a way round the audio thing (couldn't find anywhere you could simply send an audio track to, to get it on a blog!) I think we made a great team - and MOI tells me she has another song up her sleeve [if she can only find it! :-D ] so that's another one to look forward to...

Thanks for your lovely comments - makes missing a night's kip all worth while! :-) The feelings mutual about the life enrichment... I've drawn so much from knowing you too!

Darn it, Q9 - couldn't you have come over before the Next Generation started and leave the message... then I could've watched it too! Oh well, too late now... :-(

You need glasses, Mr Q9!! What colour is the wig? :-D

Glad you enjoyed the vid in your break, though!

Looking back at ya
Smiling back at ya!

One of my friends loves metal too and that's the only genre he loves; he hates the other types of music, especially pop!

Trashy music...hmm...I have to say rap and music that makes more noise than music (hahahaha!)! That's basically it. I have to agree that many music aired on radio now are pretty nice.

I also won't know the names of the songs too, annelisa! There's simply too many and I never bothered knowing them. =P
