Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Here lies some of my words and pictures (which are untouched apart from cropping, unless I've said otherwise) - Please add your words to mine, and leave a comment. Thanks for visiting!

:)))))
yep, pleasure thief it is!
hmmm...what makes u think i was writing about myself????
Beautifully said. And a nice photo as well.
Just listening to a guy named M. Ward singing "if life as really as short as they say then why are nights so long" as I read your poem. Seemed to fit in nicely.
assalam
Hello there Mystic - I thought you'd know what I was talking about! :-)
Re your question - maybe false intuition... I guess it just seemed that you were talking about another 'self'. You know, like the one who wants to/ doesn't want do those things that are 'right' to do. I suppose there's a part of me who's outgoing, and a part of me that is really shy. Which one comes up at any time is sometimes a surprise to me :-) So, that's kind of along the line I was thinking... the self that is the 'pushed down' part of you.
Hello Goatman, good to see you again!
Sounds like one of those coincidental moments (like when you're reading a book, and the word you're reading is said at exactly the same time by someone on the radio/ tv) :-) Very good timing! The photo was taken yesterday, when I was on a bank on the side of the road, helping my daughter take some 'nature' shots for her blog! I couldn't resist nabbing the camera back for a moment to get this shot, then she went back to taking shots of sheep after :-)
Jey Annelisa,
Pretty groovy, pretty hot
let the pleasure thief rob you not
let time fool you & trick you not
when its hot its hot
when its not its not
a little time is what we've got
whether we like it much or not
so best to enjoy the time a lot
Annelisa..thanks for stopping by and checking on me..I am feeling better.and I love this poem..it is so much fun..the Pleasure Thief..just great!! take care..m
Ain't that just the truth! It's never quite the way we want it!
(Have had a power outage all evening so just getting on now! Was very strange! Police outside our house and the army guys with guns!)
I love the poem! It's sounds really carefree!
lol!... very inventive Quasar9! (actually had a little chuckle over that one!)
Hi yourself, Madd! Your place is a good one to stop by, so 'my pleasure!' :-)
Mother of Invention- Did you find out what that was about? Sounds a bit unnerving?!
Hello Frolicsome kid - Nice to see you again. Quite enjoyed writing this one! How's Kinderella going?
Morning,
I thought I left a comment yesterday? Oh well. Hope your week is going good.
My word verify is aaqqq. Weird.
Hi Brian - hope you had a great holiday... I shall pop over in a minute to see if you've written anything about it!
Your comment yesterday must've disappeared in the bloguda triangle, like so many others at the moment... I didn't get any email notification of one, anyhow!
I had a verification yesterday that looked a lot like mailit !
Hiya kitty! Your comment just about had me purring...
So, had a good night last night, huh? Oh, I wish! Weekdays are strictly (ok, not too strictly) not too 'late nights'... Haven't exactly been out on the town lately either :-(
It was lovely you stopped by, but you really shouldn't - you're supposed to be nursing your muse... :-) [or should I say 'mews', or even 'me-ows'...]
Go relax rd kitty - Enjoy your break!
Hi Annelisa,
Thanks for popping by. :) I agree, we can all be confusing, but rest assured we are not confused.
Any more questions, you can always e-mail either Brian or myself.

very beautiful blog and splendid shots, compliments.ciao :-)
Hi DK! Pleasure to meet you. I have to say, when reading the holiday report, I didn't understand who was who (because it seemed to change from person to person, I couldn't work out who was talking) but... I'm getting the hang of it now! I'm glad I came to your blog and got clarification... Still haven't worked out where Diane comes into the picture... but I'll come ask you that at your place :-D
Guiliano88 - Ah, I so wish I could understand your language. Your photos are so beautiful, I feel sure your poetry must be too... One day, I'll get babelfish or something to translate (though I'm sure much nuance will be lost :-( )
I put a link up to your blog G Grassi Photography - so I can come back!
