Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Here lies some of my words and pictures (which are untouched apart from cropping, unless I've said otherwise) - Please add your words to mine, and leave a comment. Thanks for visiting!

Just one word: Stunning, my darling friend!

I knew I couldn´t keep it at one... how could I? It´s one of the most beautiful pieces of writing I´ve ever read here.

((((hugs))))

This is, perhaps, your best work of poetry ever. I'm in tears. From your heart to pen to this page and it flowed like magic. Really stunning. It literally took my breath away.
Every shining cloud edge
is the periphery of your world
and mine
....I knew you would find her in the clouds, Annelisa.
And you have.

What beautiful words from an even more beautiful heart.

I'm enchanted ... I leave you with all the love I can give. A little fairy dust too for good measure.

Be well and be at peace.

I believe that Julia is in a place apart ... and she is dancing.

"the fairies dance in a place apart,
Shaking their milk-white feet in a ring,
Tossing their milk-white arms in the air;
For they hear the wind murmur and laugh and sing
Of a land where even the old are fair,
And even the wise are merry of tongue."

Hi Annelisa,
I've met my match, I can't compete
Awestruck dumb, can only drink the words and capture a brief memory.

Glad you are back online!

In Newness

Sending a hug
your way
for the skies
today appear
cloudy and grey
yet I know soon
the sun's rays
will warm this tired
body and mind
Tomorrow
with strength
renewed
I shall walk an
untraveled path
seeing things
in a new light
learning of life's
continuing flight

Wow! I echo Mimi's thought that this is your absolute best piece of poetry. It was wrenched from your heart and soul after you were struggling to find the words you harboured there.
And how fitting that you should see her in clouds.

I love, "Every yesterday..." and, "solace in my solitude". I understand the no-mand's land frame of mind in which you dwell now.

The heavens are indeed on doubt inhaling her beautiful essence as she is ours no more...but the heavens are blessed in this.

I'm sure Julia is searching out new delightful places to show and give you once you have progressed to the next existence.

Wishing you sincere solace and peace in your solitude, my dear friend. (And lots of teddy bear-loke hugs! And maybe some pea soup and let's throw in a cuppa as well!)

******PAULINE: Your poem is lovely and I thank you for writing it for Annelisa and sharing it here.

Hello - nice to see you. From reading your comments I see that
MOI and Mimi have said it all. So I'll just echo their sentiments in letting you know how much I appreciate being permitted to read this poetry. It's beautiful. I thought at first that it would be melancholy, but you brought it round at the end to look to the future for both of you.

Good luck still x

Returned to re-read and translate to my best friend Jens. We were both in tears. He loves your work, too.

Sending in hugs from Sanni & Jens...

I just got back honey but had to visit you to see how you are.

Only a heart that loves truly could have inspired those words. I'm sure Julia is saying "my friend wrote those words from her heart for me" to her new friends.
