My dad once gave me some advice.
He said that, as you walk along the road, most people look only along the road in the direction they are aiming for, and miss all the beautiful scenery to the sides....

A beautiful poem and tribute once more. It dances in the clouds. I hope the sun shines soon for you.
Beautiful words and photographs lovely Annelisa. I'm thinking of you. x
Hey there Annelisa,
I'd like to take this time and congratulation you on your awesome blog and inform you that you are in the running for Bestest Blog of the Year. You are up against 104 other excellent blogs that have all qualified by being "Bestest Blog of the Day" in the past 12 months. Voting starts TODAY (July 23rd) and will end in 2 weeks (August 6th). Winners will be announced on August 7th!
The winner will be receiving (at least) a $50 prize and a ton of new visitors I'm sure. Other blogs that finish in the top 10 will also be getting a few new links and extra exposure. Full details of the contest can be found here. So what can you do to increase your chances of winning?
1. Go vote for yourself (duh!)
2. Encourage others to vote for you. Here is the URL: http://www.blankestblank.com/bestest/blog-of-the-year/. You can also find a nifty little graphic to include on your blog here.
3. Encourage others to register before voting. Registered users votes count 3 times more than guests.
4. Keep up the great blogging that got you here in the first place. People are going to be stopping by your blog before voting, and if you have some great, new content, that'll surely increase your vote.
Again, congratulations and good luck! And if you're interested in winning another "blog of the day" award and get in the running for next year's award, check out the new "Blankest Blank Blog Directory." Questions? Please feel free to email me or drop by the forum.
What liberated remains fly
onwards towards the sun
and dance merrily
in the midst of life,
imparting fertile
corporeal substance
to future blossoms
on route to the sea.
And whilst the mortal
is returned to Earth
the soul continues
its journey onwards
to a more ethereal
dimension - where
the mixing of spirits
is both acceptable
and desirable.
And so Dawns a New Day
and a new Mystery Play
for man is made of clay
if one takes breath away
Mind you Annelisa
your words can take my breathaway
And that's just the written words
What would spoken words feel like
Hi annelisa! I recognise that voice. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
And I, for one,
actually look forward
to the time and place
where spirits mix....
and the Voices blend.
This is so perfect, AL. Things are as they should be and I think you realize that Julia is in a place of supreme beauty and happiness. Our spirits can be lifted knowing that. We may miss her earthly form, but her spirit, the most important in the big huge picture,is still a part of everything forever more.
Take comfort, my good friend. I am thinking of you often.
Back again with a ((hug)). x
Hi Annelisa!
It is very touching. Beautiful.
I miss you Annelisa!
Take care!
Peace and Love be with you!
You really capture beauty, both in photos and poetry. It's something not a lot of people can manage to do. You're super talented!
Here's today's hug honey. Hope you're OK?
Annelisa you have an award waiting for you at my place, I know you probably don't feel much like collecting at the moment, but it's there when you do. Missing you honey. x
Hi my lovely friends.... Thank you so much for your patience. I'm slowly realising this hole inside isn't going away, and that I'm going to have to go through the motions of life anyhow, so I intend to return to the blogging world sometime soon.
I'm coming back slowly... I haven't got a lot of emotional energy... so I'll probably visit to start with... I'd like to catch up with how everyone is! So, see you soon folks!
And thanks again for your patience... I appreciate the messages and well-wishing and hugs too... ((((hugs)))) back at you!!
