Another Dawn

This is going to be obscure for everyone but the person I'm talking to, so I've put some pretty pictures of yesterday's dawn for everyone else! :-)

[and before you ask, no, it's not for a man! :-) It's for someone close to me, who seems far away... with hope it is seen.]

C...There are new dawns everyday. Sometimes cloudy, sometimes clear. Each day is a new chance to start afresh. I know you've already seen one new beginning, but I ask you to look at another one, and consider my recent words to you... maybe, one day, we can see another new dawn together...?

Beautiful dawn pictures, annelisa! Thanks for waking up early and capture such a moment. I myself have not experienced seeing dawn fully. Maybe partially when I got myself ready for school.

You know, there's a motivational poster of dawn in my bedroom and it says "Each dawn holds a new hope for a new plan, making the start of each day the start of a new life". =)

Annelisa..what amazing pictures, I love the dawn, esp if I am traveling. To me the best time to be on the road is just before 5am and move with the dawn..such a beautiful time. I do hope that whomever this is meant for does see it and moves with the dawn back to share it with you my friend..take care..m

Annelisa,

What incredible pictures. They truly do speak to a new dawn, a new beginning , and a new start. I hope that the person you are speaking to, hears your words. They are a wonderful tribute to them from a great person.

Hugs!

Hi FK - have to be brief as I'm at work and shouldn't be sitting here at the mo...

Sometime you should try getting up and seeing in the new day... it's quite a magical time!

Mmmm, it definately is a great time of the day, Madd - dare I say, even lovlier than the showy sunsets, for being so quiet and unassuming?

I'm hoping the message will be seen too... I've tried every other way :-(

Hi Diana ... I think, one day soon, I'll try videoing a dawn or something, and put it on... At the moment there are force something or other gales, and rain hitting the window sideways... not conducive to colourful sunrises and sunsets! :-)

Hope you're taking care of yourself sweetheart!

What's so cool, is that is is dawn here at the moment. Think about it; five hours on here is the sun coming up over my part of the world. Very cool.

Beautiful! I love your pictures! I couldn't post the other day so I simply went through your blog, drinking my coffee, enjoying all the pictures I've missed! Congratulations on your blog of the Day! Happy Belated Birthday!

You truly are an inspiration, Annelisa!

Nice pictures - over what period of time were they taken? - you must have very busy mornings! Everytime I drag out my old and knackered camera I accidently end up taking a picture of my thumb/floor/nose rather than the scenery in front of me.

Sounds like you've lost or are missing someone. I'm sure the person you are writing to is aware you miss them. Reminds me of letters I wrote to a loved one after a breakup. Silence, silence, silence and then suddenly I got through, and it was better and bigger and more honest than before.

That is cool, Brian! And you're up at that time... very industrious of you! What was yours like? (dawn, I mean... :-) )

Thank you Katie - I'm glad you enjoyed the pics... a sideline to lots of walks, methinks... I enjoy visiting your blog when I get a chance too!

Hi anonymous - the pictures weren't taken over that long a time frame (I had to get up and get ready, after all) Probably only 5 to 10 minutes! It was a quick sunrise, which is why I wonder if I could video it (maybe take out every other frame or something)

I love the thought of you taking a picture of your nose... I've definately done the thumb thing, and before my head shave, often a chunk of hair would suddenly decide to flip in front of the lens! (no problem now! :-D )

And yes, I sure am missing this someone!

Red Dirt Kitty - you're back (again! :-D) I'm so glad you're blogging again - I sure missed you around, and I missed your poetry!

I was considering adding some drinking chocolate to the milk... would that be really bad for a kitty? :-) You know that milk is there specially for you!

Welcome back, kitty-friend!

Hi Mystic - definately worth making the effort to see the sunrise occassionally... there's that anticipation of what the day might bring...

And yes, I hope she will one day allow me back into her life (she's never left it as far as I'm concerned... ) as she is dearer than anything to me.

Sunrises are so neat in that they are a blank slate of hope and excitement and wonder. Hope fate is such that you re-connect with this person!

I've had trouble reading and commenting...I just lost a LOOONNGGG comment on your 10 things!

I'll try again...

Hiya MOI- Definately!

You know what I do now before posting a comment? I always save it first (highlight, then ctl + C together) so I can paste (ctl + V) if it decides to throw it into the voidoid... it seems to be working [and saving me sooo much stress...especially since I nearly always seem to be writing long comments! :-D )

Hey, Thanks! Never knew this! (Aren't YOU surprised?!!!) I'll try it! Hope you got it by e-mail...recently, when the e-mail came in that showed your comment on mine, I mindlessly pressed reply, (never done that!) and wrote something and sent it...but where would it have gone? Back to my blog...which doesn't accept e-mails anyway? Did you get anything? Yikes. this stuff still eludes me!!

I've just checked my mailbox and it's there, MOI... I'll copy it and put it where it belongs on the next post :-)

Nope, no surprise at all you didn't know that... it would do you the world of good for your virtual self-esteem ( ! :-) )to do a basic computer course, which is where I learnt some cool shortcuts that save me sooo much hassle! There's one in particular that's really good:

You know when you highlight, and you have to go down the page a way...
and then you can't get the end of the highlight just where you want it, as it keeps jumping at the last bit...
and then you click, and the whole thing un-hightlights again????

Weeell, if you click on the beginning of where you want to highlight, then go to the end and hold down shift and left-click, it highlights it exactly - no hassles!! Then you can just do that ctl + C to copy, and ctl + V to paste... Oh, it makes life so much easier!

ehm... end of lesson :-D
