Words that flow...

Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Here lies some of my words and pictures (which are untouched apart from cropping, unless I've said otherwise) - Please add your words to mine, and leave a comment. Thanks for visiting!

Yuk! The dreaded something or other's got me :-(

Scratchy throat crying out for iced water
Sore nose angry at the line of tissues
Stuffed head saying I oughta
have a darned good snooze...

So, I'm going to leave you with these (many) pictures I took earlier today for now... until I can get my head together:

Beautiful pictures. I wish I knew why yours work... and I can't keep my own from disappearing, for the past two days... ever since that damned Blogger forced me to adopt their "new, improved" crap.

Hope you fight off the nasty germs with sleep and don't have to miss work. I love the last couple! I just love the sun and sky!

Okay, will Old Blogger eventually seek me out hiding under its old molted skin and force me to change to its new skin?!! Hope not as I'll never understand anything new! I'm hangin' on till I'm the very last one...by then they'll have it much better and the kinks ironed out!

Sending you a hot rum toddy!

That's some magic skies you've been catching
on blue skies white clouds flowing & dancing
light from near and far do for us to reach
just like ripples on wet sand on the beach

Hey annelisa! Get well soon, rest aplenty! =)

By the way, I love the pictures and the subjects in each of them fascinate me (and so do the skies!).

Old Blogger is forcing me out bit by bit so I'll break down and switch to New Blogger! It's fading out of the features..links wouldn't work...(sorry!)and I couldn't see 1/2 the top bar where you can centre words as I often do for poems. Pics are all computer language instead of pics in create mode! A heads up...I'll need your help before I switch over! Like for starters, how do I get a Google account to sign in with? Yikes! My blogging days may be over soon!

Annelisa, do you know Julie at the blog called Handmaid? She does these amazing drawings of trees and I tell you the two of you could do magic together. I think we should organize an exhibit at my house, once we're finished building....

Do you also print your photos professionally?
