The sun shines through
.
As I promised (in my wordy comments), here are the pics of the sun breaking through the clouds the other day. I moved from location to location, to try and get the best shots, and depending on the position of the sun in the sky. I hope you like them!
often the best sundown position
(especially if you can get further round the water's edge to the left)
dipping below the clouds,
but still high enough to be above the horizon!
she sung the tune she associates with angels
(and, of course, being one,
she would recognise the angelic qualities :-D )

Beautiful photographs Annelisa. I can understand why your daughter would sing angels when she saw them.
I've put your meme up today. :)
Excellent, Akelamalu- I shall have to come and look at it now! (how on earth did you get here so fast? I only just posted, and went to check what it looked like, and there you already were!)
wonderful light and skies annelisa.
can it possibly be the same sky we have in london??
This is the third attempt at writing this comment, Lettuce, and stoopidly I didn't take my own advice and copy before I tried to post! :-S
As I well remember, the skyline is much obscured by buildings and rooftops...it was one great reason for moving to countryside...just to see the horizon!
The 2nd and 3rd pics are straight out of a fairytale!!!
Disney, do you think, Maryam? :-)
I don't know how I got here fast, coincidence I think - both online at the same time?
:-D Is that a first, Akelamalu? Must be my new-found freedom! Yay!
The Reservoir shots are stunning.
Just stunning.
Hiya Mimi - are the peace globes keeping you spinning? IThe big day's getting close now... I think I'm going to think of a post soon...
Glad you like the reservoir, Mimi . I think you'd enjoy a peaceful moment or two there!
I love the series of photos - want to have a chance to read this properly so I'll have to come back. Making Sunday dinner just now.
A wonderful, wonderful series sweetie!
Got somethin' for ya at mischief, come and see...
Big hug
Hi my friend from across the pond - Yes, peace globes are spinning and making me dizzy. I'm on a mega-blitz campaign today targeting Wordless Wednesday participants.
Thank you for flying a countdown ticker. You're the best.
Carry on....
In your own time, TC... in your own time! :-)
Thank you so much for your lovely raindrops, Angeldust - they are beautiful crystal pearls!! Only nature can make them quite so perfect! :-)
(((hug)))
I thought it was about time I started thinking more about peace, Mimi, my friend... and when I followed your ticker back, I found the option for the globe, and just thought it was toooo perfect! :-)
You just have to have a gallery for all these shots! Build a studio room at your house!
They won't even let me extend to make a decent sized bedroom, MOI, let alone for a studio! Believe me when I say my house is minute... Before they added the kitchen, it used to virtually be what they call a 'Two-up-two-down'! So, there were just two rooms downstairs, and you come straight in the front door to the living room (which, if you lie down in, you could almost touch from end to end) and the main room, which isn't even big enough for a sofa - we have two beanbag sofas that we shove against the wall when we want to make space!)
But, what it does have is a large woodburner right in the centre of the two original rooms, and it's very cosy when that's lit!! (also a good back-up for heating when your boiler goes, like mine did last winter!)
Still, a girl can dream, can't she... :-)
Hi Annelisa!
I love your job. All pics - the best. The sun shines through the clouds - really great shots.
I wonder how you can find time to do such big, great job. It takes much, much time. Do you sleep sometimes Annelisa?
Thank you very much for this beauty.
That's really sweet of you to say, Krystyna, but really it takes only half an hour for the sun to go down... I'm glad you enjoy them as much as I do! :-)
Beautiful shots!! as always.
Thanks for sharing your gift
Well, thanks for stopping by Gewels - I'm glad you're still here! :-)
Back... My favourites are the reflections in the water. It's so smooth (not a windy day then!).
Wow! Lovely...
Morning Topchamp...I can't recall what the rest of the weather was doing... I was absorbed with looking upwards :-D
Thanks Twilite - it was!
Enjoyed each and everyone. Just back from the coast, we didn't get one second of sunlight. Nevermind, still had a good time watching the ducks with their umbrellas (joke).
Oh dear, You poor thing, Queenie - that was a bit of bad luck that you had all the rain this weekend... I hope watching ducks 'singing in the rain' and spinning round lamposts made up for the weather a bit!
It kind of ruined the funfair coming to the village for the first time since I was a child (as far as I know) as well! My daughter was very disappointed, I have to say - the only thing she could really go one was the dodgems, because it was the only covered ride (she wouldn't go on the big wheel). Never mind. There'll be others.
You have good pictures don't you?
I always love such moments, it feels really calm and mystique. I love the second and the sixth pictures where the sun rays just streak out behind the dark clouds. =)
Yeah, I agree with your daughter's association. Heaven should look like that! (Either that, or I watched too many cartoons. Lol!)
Thanks, Tina... you were with me for the first five of them... didn't you notice the sky? lol :-D
FK Rays through the clouds are definately one of the favourite thing I love too. I like the close-up of the top picture taken at the recreation ground (or what we call the rec.) best... but then, it was a very lovely sky while we were there (made doubly good by the fact the funfair was being erected behind us! :-) )
So Heavenly.....
