Walking in the wetland

.

I haven't more time this morning than to just upload these pics of my walk this morning.

It's been raining a few days now, and I could say there's nothing to photograph.... but I won't.

Looking closer, there's such beauty in such a simple thing as water. I didn't have time to search through all my photos, but grabbing a few...

And for Quasar (not dew, but I hope they'll do... ) :-D

I'll try and pop in again at break... see you again then!

You make water look beautiful, but then it is, no matter how much we complain about the rain!

Computer still kaput?

Good morning, Akelamalu - I must admit, I was feeling a bit grim, getting out of bed at 6am, and having to walk in the rain, but once there, I could hear the drip-dripping, and the pattering, and the dogs splashing through the puddles (like big kids!), so soon started thinking 'so, what can I take a picture of when it's so grey?' Guess what I found! :-D

Computer is being a pain in the ... Kids' dad had another go last weekend, and was convinced he'd found a cure (and I saw it working at his place, so I know he did!!) Unfortunately, by the time it had come back home, it was in the same (well, worse actually) state as it was before it went away :-(

Never mind. I'm here now, so I'll at least have a look at what everyone's saying! :-)

Hi Annelisa!
Wow! There is always comfortable. I'm feeling freshness and flavor of forest. Flavor of nature.
Your photos reminded me my country. Thanks for sharing.
P.S
I love your video. It fit to my place perfect. Birds sing beautiful.
Now, for a short time I’m turn it of.

I think your computer vibes must've helped, Akelamalu, because I managed to get the laptop working for a while last night... using the plug-in card I got before. Whether it will keep on working is another matter. Son's first exams start today (in an hour and a half) so it will only be a week or so before I should be able to reclaim my rightful place in front of the pc :-D

Thank you for your kind words ,Pauline. If looking at these pics got you to go out and enjoy what's there, I'm really happy - there's not so many things in life that we absolutely know will give us pleasure, but enjoying the varieties of life and nature can be one of them! :-)

I know I'm lucky to have this... that's why I like to share it...just a little

(I think you could imagine at least one other! ;-) )

Glad you liked the spider, Quasar - it was very special for me getting that photo - it took a long time to focus on it, and get the raindrops in the hairs too. I'll send it to you later!

You like the spider too, Gewels? Cool! Not everyone likes a spider, but I find that, apart from being quite hard to focus on sometimes (because the just hang mid-air, and the camera wants to focus behind) they make good subjects. They usually have nice shiny webs, and they (sometimes) sit still!!

Thanks for enjoying! :-)

It was lovely to see my walk video on your blog, Krystyna - a very pleasant surprise! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, here the forest was fresh, washed clean. I can't say it didn't need it, because (as you can see towards the end of the walk video) the ground was very dry and cracked. Now there are pervasive scents and smells of the undergrowth and flowers throughout... it's enough to make you take a deep breath and thank the powers that be for it all!

I thought I'd left a comment here, wonder where that went? I remember saying how much I liked the spider and how the raindrops made him/she look like they had been working out. Who ever got that comment, will think, what the heck is she on about..

I love water droplets on leaves! I have a similar picture hanging in my bedroom! =D

And the spider with bright pearls of water droplet on it looks absolutely beautiful (although I don't really fancy spiders). =D

Beautiful macro pictures. I lovee it! =)
