Words that flow...

Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Here lies some of my words and pictures (which are untouched apart from cropping, unless I've said otherwise) - Please add your words to mine, and leave a comment. Thanks for visiting!

oh annelisa girlfriend .....

you cannot possibly know how wonderful it was to see your comment over at red scribbles !! Just this past week, i had been saying how much I miss you ... even though i realize that you are grieving and healing.

the poetry is heartrending, real, bittersweet, full of love and loss and tears and joy ..... life in full circle.

i'm so glad you have that outlet ....

kitty cat paws reaching over the atlantic, with love and xxx !!

I love this, especiallly the words

Yeah, like what RDG said..I just spent 30 minutes trying to leave a comment on your previous post...I did leave one, but the others thatI started to leave...well..lets just say that I can sure say some stupid stuff sometimes...

I did a post several weeks ago with you in mind though I kinda buried the reference at the bottom cause I didn't want to lay it on too thick like I do sometimes...it was about Nocti-lucent Clouds, in the upper atmosphere and I had never heard of them...they see them in Denmark and germany aloy, and maybe where you are too...I don't think they see them much in Texas, but I look for them all the time now and if I ever see one I'm going to name it "Words that Flow".
Why not?
Longer letter later...

My paltry words can only attempt to offer peace, or the hope thereof.
Its probably gonna hurt for some time to come.

A beautiful metaphor here of the blending and yet separate states of the living and deceased. It's double-edged and so true. The truth finds a way to pervade the present concrete reality and make itself known to people (like you) who seek it and can perceive it.
Do you call it pink because of the reflection of the sun at dawn? The pinkish flow of past lifeblood meeting the present dawning of life each day in the present? The meeting of the two worlds is indeed fascinating. It's as if she is trying to communicate with you still and you are responding with inspiration and such clear images.

I am so glad you have used your creative and receptive mind to continue to process the event and share it all with us. We are honoured as is Julia.

Hi again Annelisa,

Just wanted to remind you that today is the last day of voting for Bestest Blog of the Year, and there are definitely still quite a few blogs within striking distance for the fame and glory (and $50 cash prize!).

EXCLUSIVE results will be featured on my new (and improved!) blog, BestestBlog.com, 8AM EST on Tuesday morning. Voting for new "Best Blog of the Days" has already begun and the first winner (based entirely on your votes) will be picked Wednesday (and every) morning at 8AM (again at Bestest Blog). Get in the running by joining the Blankest Blank Blog Directory...over 100 have already, and we haven't even handed out any awards yet!!

We'll also be having daily results (again based on your nominations and votes) for Funniest Video, Funniest Picture, Funniest Joke, and Most Fun Game every day at 10AM, 12PM, 2PM, and 4PM respectively.

I hope you'll stop by and leave a comment some time, we've got lots of exciting stuff on the horizon!
