My dad once gave me some advice.
He said that, as you walk along the road, most people look only along the road in the direction they are aiming for, and miss all the beautiful scenery to the sides....

Looks like your kind of spot! What did you take there?
I went to Guelph University because the campus had beautiful old buildins with ivy growing all over them, nice bay windows in the residences too. My dad, sister, a niece and nephew have all gone there too! Oh yeah, my husband also!
Are they paying you to promote them? And where are they?
Beautiful spot for a teddy bear picnic.
oh yes! utterly gorgeous!!
Beatyfull pic I love it it has so much green in it I would go there ,and take classes for the cenary that you got ,and that way I would be able to think as I did my home work . Great pic
Hi MOI - Yes, it was exactly my kind of spot... Stirling's in a valley (or lowlands) surrounded by rocky hills...it's simply beautiful.
And it was why I went there (oh, and because a passing professor complimented my whacky hat! :-) )
I initially had the idea of doing microbiology, or viruology, but couldn't face doing the dissections, so I moved the emphasis over to psychology. It was a great course, which I enjoyed very much... and never used (having decided upon completion to go into a design business with Julia!)
Brian, I'm not sure who I'm promoting!?! (had many a picnic here- there's a river just behind where I'm standing- perfect!)
Mystic - isn't it just! I must try and get back there sometime...
Bet you could imagine cantering on a horse here, eh Hope? I think you'd love it... I seem to remember sitting outside and working whenever I could!
huh?
By huh? I meant where's the link
between Stirling University, and
East Sussex -
I just checked the post again in
case I'd missed something. lol!
:-) The link is me! I might have been born and bred in Sussex, but I lived in Stirling for several years, before moving to London, then back to Sussex!
love the colours,Absolutely gorgeous!
It was gorgeous! Some of the places I stayed were in the central valley/ lowland, and all around were hills - some rolling like the one in the distance, and some more stark and stony but all lovely...
