Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Amazing what sunlight does,
hust for a moment seems like even 'dark' clouds have a golden lining

It was a strange light that came through the clouds, Quasar. It had been raining just a while before, and the sun was making a last-ditch effort to shine through before disappearing over the horizon. The light wasn't orange or red... it was a yellow like you get from those old yellow streetlamps... I'll see if the other photos show it better...

...but you could say this yellow was actually gold... it did look it!

How is it that you are always where the sky is most beautiful?

Thank you Akelamalu - kind of you to say so!

:-D - that's it, Maryam! I just happen to be where the sky's most beautiful! (See, keep telling you it's not my photography :-) )

Sky-Girl says thankyou, oh Mother of Invention!!

:-) At this time of year,Queenie, I think I'd rather snuggle down on the sofa in front of the open fire... bit damp and cold outside!

...but, I have to admit, there's been some really superb sunsets and sunrises lately! Wouldn't want to miss them!
