Words that flow...

Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Here lies some of my words and pictures (which are untouched apart from cropping, unless I've said otherwise) - Please add your words to mine, and leave a comment. Thanks for visiting!

Skinned

[Poem Skinned moved for publishing Aug 2017
other rhymes from this collection now on Amazon Pink River]

Thanks for all your visits folks.
I'm thinking that if I don't return to my life, then it is but an empty shell. I need to live it, and so I plan to return to the things I enjoyed - blogging, taking photos, writing. Life hasn't totally stopped since I've been gone from here... much has been going on. That my heart's not in it is a 'by-the-way'. I have a confession (or rather a revalation) to tell, and also something interesting.
But I'll leave it for now. The sun's shining, and my wasteland of a garden (I kid you not - I have 'before' pictures to show you :-) ) is beckoning....

Hope to see you soon

And thanks again for your patience.

xx

Hi Annalisa--

You're right about your life. Take another look at that untended garden...

Seasons and all things pass. And even with those passings, it remains with us to keep all of our gardens as beautiful as we can.

Pain passes, but joys are forever. That's why it so important to come back to the garden, to find those joys again.

Here's hoping many more come your way! ft

Really, I'd love to be a frog in your garden!
This is my desire...

hi girlfriend of love!! i'm still on holiday - but have stolen a computer!

thank you for your sweet going away wishes - i do miss you so!!

this is a lovely poem - one i wish i had written myself - a bit of 'thin skinned' mixed with one i've been toying with called 'paper armour' ....ahhhhhh, my sister across the sea. my garden, too, has been long neglected, and the storm clouds are gathering on the horizon. I best be strapping back on the wetsuit, waxing down my surfboard: kitty will soon be riding the big waves again!!

much love and thoughts to you, AE..

AE girlfriend,

reaching fingertips across the ocean to brush against yours; feel your sadness; send you my love. i do miss you, so. but loved seeing you over at steve's place. you have not lost your fabulous sense of humour!

school is back. i'm running ragged. the waters? have become like ice: doldrums I believe they are called. If a kitty falls off her board, the smooth cold surface can cut like glass ... kitty is sliding her surfboard cautiously towards the beach. I suppose I should feel grateful for the respite. But this has an even more ominous feel to it.

Plus, after all that hanging onto the board amidst the pounding waves, I finally learned how to ride the waves .... I want to show off my skills!!

Sigh. Much love, girlfriend.
