Words that flow...

Words and images - powerful elements of our everyday life. Most of the time we take them for granted, but sometimes something happens to make you aware of how important they are... and how thankful you are to have the opportunity to use or appreciate them. Here lies some of my words and pictures (which are untouched apart from cropping, unless I've said otherwise) - Please add your words to mine, and leave a comment. Thanks for visiting!

Scattering the ashes

Yesterday we scattered Julia's ashes on the South Downs in one of her favourite spots. It felt weird, but also felt right. I still can't believe she's gone...

Annelisa.. this is one of the most beautiful poems Ive read.. theres a sadness but its lovely in the way you describe her soul's journey.. and indeed, our sweetest songs are born of our saddest moments..

esp these lines.. Dancing air gathers
the vesel's dust,
borrowed for life,
and thrusts briskly upward...

HUGS! and I am touched in the way you have shared these moments with us. Much love, always.
Take care.

You described what happens to us all perfectly honey. Julia would have been so proud I'm sure. x

I love this poem and it is perfect for what happens to all of us. Our bodies are indeed just a vessel borrowed for life and after that is over, are no longer needed for anything. The rest of the journey is for our souls.
Julia has a permanent place now in her spirit world and in your heart.
A full circle.
